HOW POINTS ARE CALCULATED & CHIPS ARE AWARDED
POINTS
- with a receipt you will be awarded for the number of dollars you spend at any
venue.
- before the beginning of each table, a Bounty chip will be hidden in one of ten
piles of chips. That person is designated as the Bounty. Everyone else will
attempt to knock the Bounty out of the table with no remaining chips.
If you
knock out the Bounty you will be awarded 25 points. If however the Bounty
retains the Bounty and wins the table and comes in 1st place, they will receive
50 points.
- for each table played, you will receive 10 points
- for each new player you bring, you will receive 50 points (ONCE)
+ 10 additional points for each table they play that night
- 1st place will receive 100 points
- 2nd place will receive 75 points
- 3rd place will receive 50 points
CHIPS
- at the beginning of every table, each player starts with 20,000 chips
BONUS CHIPS
- at the beginning of every table, additional chips are rewarded for the following:
- 5000 chips awarded to the Bounty
- 5000 chips awarded for singing a karaoke song (where available)
- 4000 chips for those who buy a T-Shirt from the bar or wearing a Phat Ace Poker T-Shirt
- 3000 chips for those wearing a Phat Ace Poker ball cap
- 3000 chips are awarded for having a food stamp. (received from the dealer after purchasing food)
- 3000 chips for those accompanied by a new player (still present at the venue)
- 2000 chips for a Phat Ace Poker keychain
- 1000 chips for those accompanied by a friend (must still be present at the venue & not playing)
- 1000 chips awarded for knowing the trivia question of the week
- 1000 chips for those wearing a Phat Ace Poker button
- at anytime during the game, whatever the small blind is when a drink is purchased, that amount will be awarded
- 2000 chips for turning in a 1st Place Card (Limited to One per Game)
- 1000 chips for turning in a 2nd Place Card (Limited to 2000 Chips, when used in combination with other cards)
- 500 chips for turning in a 3rd Place Card (Limited to 2000 Chips, when used in combination with other cards)
- at seasons end (to be determined later) for the main event tournament, the
number of points a person has is rounded off to the nearest 500 and given to
them in chips.
